JR Finance was established in 2020 when Johnrae (JR) Tannen decided to take everything he learnt from his 34 year-long career with ANZ Bank and create a client focused financial services company.
JR Finance helps it’s clients create wealth by working on your behalf with banks to secure your lending, tailoring financial plans fit for every situation, educating you with financial management, and guiding you through the processes of wealth creation by being with you every step of the way.
His banking experience spans from Retail to Business Banking, starting at an entry level position in India in 1985 at ANZ Grindlays Bank.
After 17 years of working with ANZ Grindlays Bank, JR moved to New Zealand with his wife and two children, continuing his career in banking with ANZ. While in New Zealand, Johnrae held many positions including Senior Business Manager, West Auckland Regional Manager for Business Banking, and most recently, Regional Manager for South Auckland Retail Banking.
Now JR enjoys working closely with his clients to assist them create wealth by being with them through every step of their financial journey. Clients benefit from time spent creating simple, clear, and tailored plans toward growing assets, wealth, and over-all understanding how to live a life that they want all the while having advice based on over three decades of banking and management experience.
